Hex Finish Nut Grade 8: A perforated block of steel, possessing an internal, or female thread, intended for use on an external, or male, thread such as a bolt for the purpose of tightening or holding two or more bodies in definite relative positions. The grade 8 nuts is quenched & tempered medium carbon alloy steel for greater strength. It is identifiable by its yellow zinc plating.
