Here at M&K Metals, we stock Electrolytic Touch Pitch (aka ETP) copper per alloy spec C11000. This has long been one of the most utilized of copper in the commercial world and is found in the form of rounds, flats, sheets, and plates. ETP copper is approximately 99.9% pure copper and is used in a wide variety of applications because of its conductivity, workability, corrosion resistance, and recently, because of it's anti-microbial properties. Most people either solder or braze the copper and welding is not recommended. Although the metal is not difficult to cut and machine, it is more difficult to do so than brass, which incidentally, is composed primarily of Copper and Zinc.
C110 Copper has a wide range of applications, from plumbing to electrical conductivity used in motors, electromagnets and bus bars. Copper is an excellent choice for hot and cold forming applications as well as applications that require extensive machining.
